1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering, or using AdvocateAssist.in (“Platform”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Platform Policies.

If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

2. Nature of the Platform

Advocate Assist is a digital intermediary platform that:

  • Enables users to search for registered advocates
  • Allows advocates to create and manage professional profiles
  • Facilitates communication between users and advocates
  • Provides advocate networking features
  • Hosts blogs and professional polls
  • Enables junior advocate postings and case collaboration listings

The Platform is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or guarantee legal outcomes. All services are independently rendered by advocates.

3. Public Data Disclosure

Certain advocate details such as name and Bar Council Enrollment ID may be sourced from publicly available Bar Council records for identification purposes. No private contact information is collected from such public sources. Advocates may claim, update, or request removal of their profile by contacting the Platform.

4. Account Registration & Approval

Advocate registration requires valid Bar Council Enrollment details. Registration is subject to administrative review and approval. The Platform may suspend or reject accounts for false information or misconduct.

5. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

  • Post defamatory or false content
  • Impersonate others
  • Violate applicable laws
  • Misuse reviews or messaging features

6. Subscription & Fees

End users may access search features free of charge. Advocates may receive an initial promotional free period (e.g., three months).

After the promotional period, access to certain features may require payment of an annual subscription fee (currently proposed ₹999 + applicable GST). Fees are subject to change with prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All website design, software, branding, and content are owned by the Platform unless otherwise stated. Users grant a non-exclusive license to display submitted content.

8. Intermediary Status

The Platform operates as an intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. We are not responsible for user-generated content but will act upon lawful complaints.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Platform shall not be liable for advocate performance, legal outcomes, professional disputes, or financial losses arising from platform use.

10. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Platform from claims arising due to misuse or violation of policies.

11. Advocate declaration

I confirm compliance with Bar Council Rules in all professional collaborations.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction: Courts at Hyderabad, India.
